Solution
Even with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), Health Systems have a need to scan
and index documents to supplement the clinical information. Storage needs
of these scanned documents are significant and for a typical Health System can be
triple the amount of storage needed for the other non-image type Clinical Content
of the EHR. Majority of the available solutions for such storage are not optimized
for Write Once Read Many type of data. Such non-optimal solutions results
in high storage costs and other issues associated backup and recovery. In
